  • Use the green side of the sponge to clean the pot
  • Add table salt on its side and scrub it.
  • Rinse the pot thoroughly with water.

How to clean copper pots using baking soda and lemon juice

As an alternative of salt and white wine vinegar, you can clean your copper pots and pans using baking soda and lemon juice. Lemon juice and baking soda is safe for your pots and mild on your hands. You can follow the cleaning steps on the previous paragraph to clean them with baking soda, lemon juice, and sponge.

Some experts said that a mix of baking soda and lemon juice is better than a mix of salt and vinegar. They said that micro salt can be trapped in pore of the pots surface. If it happens, it can cause damage. Therefore, you need to make sure that you rinse the slat properly and there is no micro salt left on it.
